Our open warehouse receiving hours are 9 AM – 3 PM Monday through Saturday. If you are going to drop off a donation, please be mindful of a few guidelines: we cannot accept any personal food items that have been opened, even if they are still edible (spices, oils, packaged foods, etc). See below for more guidelines. We can not currently pickup from personal residences. We are doing pickups from businesses over 100 LBS – to coordinate a pickup please email email@example.com or call (503) 226-8061, leave a voicemail and we will get back to you. Sundays we operate by APPOINTMENT ONLY. We are working hard with a smaller staff to get food to people who need it, thank you for your support! We look forward to speaking with you.

What We Need
We welcome all wholesome, edible food including fresh garden produce, unserved leftovers from events, and food which has passed its “best by” date but is still good. Food comes to us for a whole host of reasons —because of overstocked orders and broken delivery boxes, discontinued product lines or holiday inventory the week after the big day has passed. We cannot harvest backyard fruit or field crops, and we cannot accept any food that is spoiled or has been opened. We do not accept firewood, clothing, or disposable serving ware.

Donors who provide food in good faith are protected by both state and federal Good Samaritan laws that were designed both to encourage donation of needed foods and to protect donors. Read more here!
We Set Up the Rest
We will bring storage bins and any necessary containers for picking up your unsold food on a regular schedule. We can also accept donations at our Central Portland warehouse, and are able to accommodate one-time donations thanks to our team of volunteers.
Other Donation Options
- Bring it to our warehouse at 15 SE 6th Ave. in Portland. We are open to receive donations between 9 AM and 3 PM Monday through Saturday, and Sunday by appointment only. Call or email to set up an alternative time.
- For larger donations, call or email us to set it up.
- If you run a restaurant or store and would like to make regular weekly donations, we can set up a pickup schedule. We can provide labeled containers for you to transfer prepared food, so that we can swap them out for new ones at pickup time. Again, call or email to set this up.
